| — Slasher's Description |
Slasher
is a FORSAKEN-original Killer and one of the seven playable Killers. He is the only Killer available for free to all players, automatically unlocked upon joining the game for the first time. Added in Update 3.1.0 on August 30, 2025, he is a redesign of his predecessor, Jason
, created due to copyright concerns. Slasher specializes in stealth and chases, using his signature machete to hunt down Survivors.
Slasher was introduced as a redesign of Jason to avoid copyright conflicts with the various rights holders of his main inspiration, Jason Voorhees, whose ownership is unusually fragmented. Rather than navigating the long process of securing permissions from multiple parties, the developers opted to redesign him, which was far easier. See the full reason here. Despite the changes, Slasher keeps the first name Jason and still draws clear inspiration from Jason Voorhees; his chase themes reference Friday the 13th, and his appearance is based on the version seen in Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51. His gameplay remains mostly unchanged.
In FORSAKEN lore, Slasher is a bacon-haired prisoner of war from the Roblox action-animated war film The Last Guest by ObliviousHD. After being captured, he was sent to Area 51 and subjected to brutal, inhumane experiments. During this time, he was exposed to the Necrobloxicon, a cursed book whose mysterious voice convinced him it was his mother. He later escaped alongside Jeff The Killer and Slenderman, continuing to commit acts of violence under the book's influence.
Appearance
Slasher is the successor to Jason and carries many of the same references. His design is inspired by Jason's appearance in the Roblox horror game Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51, while his role as a slasher draws from Jason Voorhees of the American horror film franchise Friday the 13th.
Slasher's head is concealed by a black shroud with a crude hockey mask with a mouthpiece similar to what Hannibal Lecter wore in the movie The Silence of the Lambs, the black shroud is ripped and tattered across his chest beneath a worn green coat. He has the Necrobloxicon stabbed into his shoulder, "Guiding him". Underneath, he has a bandaged-over blue motorcycle shirt, with his arms also wrapped in bandages and gloved hands. He completes the look with black boots. Beneath the mask and bag lies a disfigured face with brown, bacon-like hair.
Gameplay
Slasher is a Stealth/Ambush Killer. He lacks ranged abilities, requiring him to rely on close-quarters combat and efficient stamina management. His kit emphasizes aggressive chases and high-tempo attacks, allowing him to deal heavy damage to multiple targets with minimal end lag and cooldown. Slasher excels at punishing survivors who miss attacks or misuse their abilities. His signature effect, Bleeding, inflicts damage over time, adding sustained pressure during chases. Precise hitboxes make him especially effective in tight, close-range encounters.

Lore
Introduction[]
Slasher's mother, with Slasher himself hiding behind her.
Both Slasher and Guest 1337 experienced bullying in their childhood before becoming battle-hardened soldiers. The bullying of Guest 1337 is also an actual scene from The Last Guest.
Slasher is directly linked to The Last Guest, a Roblox action-animated war movie by ObliviousHD; he is a custom character not canon in the movie but only existing in FORSAKEN's alternate timeline.
Slasher takes cover behind a barrier as a fellow bacon soldier throws a grenade at enemy lines. This mirrors a scene from the first Last Guest film, where Guest 1337 hides behind cover while Matt fires before being critically injured. They fought in the Memories Underground War map.
Memories Underground War, the map where Slasher and Guest 1337 fought on opposing sides.
Slasher is a bacon-haired person whose real name is Jason (a homage to his predecessor). As a child, he was isolated, had no friends, and was often bullied. Among other Bacon Hairs, he was considered unattractive, academically weak, and unpopular, and they simply viewed him as useless.[1] The only person who truly cared for him was his mother, Paula, about whom little is known. His father is also unknown but is presumably deceased, an aspect that is explained later.
Around some years later, the Bacon Empire used its massive army to carry out a systematic genocide against the Guests through public executions and forced labor. This eventually escalated into the Guest War between the Bacon Empire and Roblox. As the conflict grew into total war, the Bacons mobilized their forces and Slasher was conscripted in the process.[2]
Despite the horrors of combat, he finally experienced a sense of equality, something he never had before. His strength he gained from military training put him on the same level as his fellow soldiers.[3]
Capture and Captivity[]
Slasher is now at Area 51, with an armed guard standing to his left.
During one of Slasher's battles, he was presumably defeated and forced to surrender. He was taken as a prisoner of war and transported to Area 51, the same facility featured in the Roblox horror game Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51.
There, he became a test subject in a top-secret super-soldier project. He was chosen because the host, presumably the Necrobloxicon, a cursed book parodying H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon, needed a vessel with only one living family member, a category Slasher fit perfectly. In Lovecraft's stories, the book drives readers to madness with its dark magic and resurrection spells, and the Necrobloxicon serves as its Roblox counterpart. Furthermore, no one would remember someone like him.[2] As mentioned earlier, the Necrobloxicon requires one living family member to exert control, which suggests his mother may still be alive while his father is likely deceased.
While in captivity, he was subjected to cruel and inhumane tests and kept in terrible living conditions. Everything changed when he was exposed to the Necrobloxicon.
Slasher is shown sleeping in a bed with what is presumably the Necrobloxicon on his desk. Meanwhile, Guest 1337, after killing the Bacon General with a grenade, lands in a war crater.
Motherly Voice and Escape[]
Slasher, now wearing his iconic uniform and concealing his bacon-haired identity, was armed with his weapons during the mass breakout.
Slasher, while in possession of the book, began hearing a motherly voice speaking to him from within it, which he believed to be his own mother. In reality, the book has no true control over him; it mimics her voice to tighten its hold, manipulating him like a puppet. Under its influence, he gradually lost his sense of reality and adopted the violent persona he is known for today.
Eventually, he escaped during a coordinated breakout alongside Jeff The Killer and Slenderman, who would later become his close allies and partners in crime.[4] The exact details of the breakout, as well as the mastermind behind it, remain unknown.
The details of the location Slasher fled to after escaping Area 51 remain unknown. However, according to his in-game description, specifically the line mentioning "a chainsaw he found in a cabin," it is implied that he went to a cabin (possibly one he lived in before entering the war) where he discovered an old chainsaw and resided until he was forsakened.
Despite this, the chainsaw also appears in Slasher's Area 51 render, making unclear why he's shown armed with the weapon there when it was originally described as being found in a cabin.
The Slasher facing Guest 1337 in Forsaken, with The Spectre visible in the sky.
Arrival to Forsaken[]
The exact circumstances of how Slasher arrived in FORSAKEN remain unknown. Though, he holds a deep vendetta against Guest 1337, as he was the Last Guest who joined the Roblox Army to battle Slasher's own kind, the Bacon Hairs. This explains why the Slasher has a custom kill animation when killing Guest 1337, and an official lore image on the right depicts him going against the Guest in the Forsaken realm, while The Spectre watches from the sky.
Origin and Rebellion[]
Click here to read the entire lore.
Nosferatu belongs to an ancient generation of vampires summoned by Dracula through the cursed Necrobloxicon. The deal gave them life but forced them to drain Robloxians to survive, a practice that risks detection and eradication by the Roblox admins. He rejected the strict hierarchy of his kind and eventually rebelled, slaughtering countless Robloxians.
When hunted for treason, The Spectre recruited him through an agent bearing the alchemical symbol of phosphorus, offering "infinite celebration and desire" to enter the FORSAKEN realm. Nosferatu accepted, bringing the Masquerade with him and later becoming both an NPC in the Chamber and a Killer in the trials.
Connection to Slasher[]
The Necrobloxicon that influenced Nosferatu's lore later becomes central for Slasher, as it is fused into his right shoulder and drives him to kill. Nosferatu and Striga are searching for the book, believing it can break their ancient curse, while Slasher remains unaware of their pursuit. It is unknown how the vampires will react if they discover he possesses it or how Slasher will respond once he becomes aware of their interest.
Given Slasher's ruthless nature and the influence of the voice he believes to be his mother, he is unlikely to give up the book without fierce resistance. He is not an ordinary killer armed only with a machete and chainsaw, as he is immortal and can survive for years without food or water.[5] Although Nosferatu possesses superior abilities and attack techniques, he likely cannot sustain prolonged periods without feeding, since he must drain life from Robloxians, the Survivors. Any fight between the two would probably be brutally contested rather than one-sided.Audio

Strategy
Slasher is a melee-centric killer, excelling in close-quarters combat with devastating damage output. His Gashing Wound ability alone deals up to 50 damage (70 if he is ENRAGED), while his other abilities deal 20 damage each, plus additional bleed effects. However, reckless play can quickly deplete his stamina, as Slasher is the only killer in the game without ranged abilities. This makes chasing survivors (or dealing with Chance) challenging, as he is only slightly faster than a survivor and has limited stamina regeneration. To master Slasher, players must remain composed and strategic, and have good stamina management. Slasher specializes in separating survivors to finish them, so it is detrimental to target one person instead aiming to attack a whole group.

|
Tips
- Slasher's lack of ranged attacks means that getting up close is necessary, encouraging pursuit of one survivor.
- This makes Sentinels especially effective, as getting stunned even once can cause a survivor to get away. Being aware of nearby Sentinels is crucial.
- Stamina management alongside other knowledge on chases is necessary because of this.
- Make sure to replenish stamina fully before beginning a chase, as all of it is necessary.
- Slash has a very fast windup and a relatively long reach, making it one of the most consistent main abilities that survivors need to predict rather than react to in order to dodge.
- Because of this, try flicking your screen to extend the hitbox. It can counter juking.
- Supports should always be a priority as they have many ways to extend a chase or be a general nuisance, greatly lengthening the time between kills.
- Try to time Gashing Wound so that it does damage as the effect runs out.
- If they instead prefer Mobile, continue to chase after them and manage your stamina with Raging Pace, destroying any graffiti along the way until you can confirm the kill.
- If there are a low number of players, this will also help keep this infinite stamina if you are staying near the outside edges of the map, which is where Veeronica will commonly place her graffiti.
- Behead grants a small bit of distance, which can be useful should the survivor be out of the reach of Slash but still very close.
- It also has a bigger hitbox, making it easier to hit than Slash.
- Behead skips the kill animation if it kills a survivor, saving time for in the case of a long kill animation.
- Though, do be mindful that it is detrimental if a Last Man Standing starts due to the lack of stamina recovery.
- Behead applies Helpless, which can be used to silence survivors' abilities. This affects sentinels the most due to their ability to stun the killer.
- The Helpless from Behead can be roughly tracked through its cooldown; specifically, it ends when its cooldown is at 10.5s or 4s if it was used while ENRAGED.
- When going against Sentinels, always use Behead when available so you don't have to worry about them stunning you.
- Gashing Wound is best used on a survivor that can't move fast for a moment, such as a Sentinel that missed their stun or a survivor out of stamina.
- If you are confident, Gashing Wound can be used on a cornered survivor trying to escape or one who is predictable in juking.
- However, there is a high cooldown for Gashing Wound, so be careful when not using it to punish survivors.
- Gashing Wound has a lot of endlag and stops you when used, making it not recommended to be used during a chase.
- While a survivor working on a generator may seem like a good target for Gashing Wound, experienced ones are likely to dodge it and waste the ability.
- Raging Pace is most commonly used to keep up pressure when out of stamina, as its high walk speed outpaces a survivor while they walk.
- Preferably, it should be used at low (but not no) stamina and exited with Slash when at 70 Stamina to refill the stamina bar quickly, but using it at no stamina is also fine.
- Alternatively if the survivor is close enough, Behead can be used as it is far more powerful on hit.
- Preferably, it should be used at low (but not no) stamina and exited with Slash when at 70 Stamina to refill the stamina bar quickly, but using it at no stamina is also fine.
- Raging Pace can be used to negate an incoming stun, which punishes Sentinels greatly and leaving them vulnerable to attacks.
- However, if you notice a stun is coming too late, it's best to simply take it, as you don't gain stun immunity during Raging Pace's windup.
- In addition, this requires fast reaction time, and occasionally prediction skills.
- Staying ENRAGED is not recommended as, though it can outpace a walking survivor, it can't outpace a running one, and a survivor can generally outpace you if it is not cancelled.
- It is not advised to immediately use Raging Pace to locate survivors as it is a crucial ability during chase; however, after a while, it is a good idea to use it anyway and avoid wasting more time.
- To find survivors without Raging Pace, you can use your stamina as a sort of "radar" as it only goes down when you are near somebody.
- Since Slasher only has melee attacks to his disposal, distance is the best thing to have. Always be aware of your surroundings and stamina in case he initiates a chase with you.
- Maintain a constant distance with Slasher during a chase.
- Juke Slasher only when necessary, as he has very fast M1s and all melee attacks, meaning you are likely going to be hit.
- Move unpredictably; Try and confuse Slasher by using sudden, sharp movements during chase to make it harder for him to hit you. If you run in a straight line during a chase, he might catch up.
- It is important to note that some players that use Slasher are new to the game (due to him being the first killer available), and thus are marginally easier to counter due to their lack of experience. Always assume they aren't new. Slasher is dangerous if in the right hands.
- As Guest 1337, you can get a free punch charge whenever Slasher uses Gashing Wound. This is done by walking up to Slasher while they are attacking a survivor with Gashing Wound and blocking.
- Though, this may result in damage since the swings are consecutive, making it hard to block and get out in time.
- Try to block on the last swing in order to prevent taking damage.
- While Slasher is using Raging Pace, try to get as far as possible from slasher, then conserve as much stamina as possible, as this will force slasher to waste stamina.
- Slasher often relies on separating players from their team in order to kill them. As such, try to stay within range of other teammates during a chase.
- A team that works together can make it hard for Slasher to target a specific player without the others intervening.
- Keep in mind Slasher can hit multiple people with his attacks, so body blocking will not work.
- Veeronica can use her Sk8 ability to help counter Raging Pace's rapid stamina regeneration.
Redesign
Slasher was introduced as a redesign because Jason faced multiple copyright conflicts with its main inspiration, Jason Voorhees, who has an unusually fragmented copyright ownership due to a long history of disputes among multiple rights holders. The character was originally created for the 1980 film Friday the 13th, with certain rights to the screenplay and character held by writer Victor Miller, who later successfully reclaimed part of his copyright under U.S. law. However, other major elements of the character, particularly the iconic adult, hockey-mask-wearing version, are controlled by entities such as Horror, Inc. and Warner Bros. through its subsidiary New Line Cinema. This fragmented ownership covers distinct aspects of the character, including visual design, narrative traits, and derivative works, meaning no single party has full control over Jason Voorhees' image or story.
These complicated claims and differing rights make any commercial use highly risky, requiring approval from multiple stakeholders. To avoid this complex legal process, the Forsaken developers redesigned Jason as Slasher, allowing them to keep the character's inspiration and gameplay while fully sidestepping potential copyright infringement.
Trivia
- Slasher is the first original killer added to the game, not being based on a previous Roblox myth or famous hacker.
- Slasher's intro background is based on Survive and Kill the Killers in Area 51.
- He is also the second killer to have received an animated intro.[6]
- Area 51 is integrated into his lore.[6]
- Strangely, Slasher's intro shows him entering Area 51 from the lobby and through the main corridor, unlike Jason, whom is shown leaving Area 51 by going from the main corridor and into the lobby in his intro.
- Slasher is currently the only killer without a ranged attack.
- Slasher is currently the only killer not based off of a real Roblox account.
- Slasher still hears his mother's voice guiding him.[6]
- Slasher's mother's name is Paula.
- In the post from Hytoko, Pamela (the mother of Jason, his predecessor) was renamed to Paula.
- Slasher is currently the only killer inspired by a slasher horror movie.
- A few of his (removed) skins reference fellow slasher movies, such as Michael Myers (Halloween), now The Shape, and Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
- Additionally, Freddy Krueger, another slasher movie character, was proposed at one point (as a John Doe skin) but has later been repurposed as a killer.
- Slasher's weapons are removed when he emotes in a private server. However, some skins that change weapons will not have the weapons removed.
- Slasher has the fourth-highest health of all the Killers, being 1250, 3rd place is John Doe, 2nd is Nosferatu, and 1st being Guest 666, However on Friday the 13th, he can have 3000 health, doubling John Doe's HP, surpassing Nosferatu, and even Guest 666.
- Slasher's machete model is based on the Machete from Left 4 Dead 2.
- Slasher is currently the base fastest killer in the game, having both the fastest normal and sprint speeds.
- Guest 666 is able to go faster than Slasher through a combination of their Blood Hunt and Manic Fixation, at around ~29.47 (vs. Slasher's 28.)
- Slasher has the most skins of any killer with 33 total.
- Slasher is fueled by rage and a desire for vengeance.[6]
- Slasher is one of two killers that becomes temporally stronger on a certain date, the other being John Doe.[6]
- Slasher was the first killer who could ragdoll a survivor without directly killing them.
- Slasher might enjoy s'mores if he weren't busy hunting people.[6]
- Slasher acquired his chainsaw upon entering the Forsaken realm.[6]
- If Chance has the Bleeding I effect when their One Shot ability explodes and kills them, Slasher gets a pop-up stating: "+ : Killed a Survivor through damage over time".
- This is caused by the self-inflicted damage while Bleeding I is in effect, causing the game to mistake it as Bleeding I being the cause of death.
- During Gashing Wound Slasher's machete is thrown away but miraculously reappears behind him.
- When Slasher dies, his chainsaw is stuck in his torso from the back.
- This is probably how Slasher's rig works, with the chainsaw defaulting to its default position as there is no death animation.
- Slasher's kill animation references a scene in Friday the 13th (2009) where Jason Voorhees kills Richie.
- Slasher is the first character in the game to not have the blocky body in his default skin. He uses the Roblox 2.0 bundle. The second being Nosferatu.
- The belief of Slasher's "oversized hitbox" became a meme within the community. One notable example is a parody of Butcher Vanity, which opens with the line: "They say my hitbox is a problem," directly referencing the hitbox of Jason (Slasher's old design).
- This meme is also referenced/mentioned as an official skin for Slasher, called "Hitbox Accurate".
- If he had a Roblox username it'd be jasonbacon1980.[7]
- Also the name itself has a references: "Jason" his name reference to Jason Voorhees, which is Slasher's inspiration, "Bacon" references to his Pal Hair but mostly called bacon hair by Roblox Community, and "1980" references where the first Friday The 13th movie was released.
- This also implies that Slasher is 45 years old.
- Just like Jason, Slasher has Hydrocephalus.[8]
- Slasher fought in the Bacon War, and due to this he doesn't like Guest 1337. [9]
- Slasher is the second killer to get a redesign and the first to receive a name change.
- The 1st was c00lkidd since his original modeler left the team.
- If you kill somebody with ENRAGED Gashing Wound in Last Man Standing, Slasher would still keep his glowing eye in the win animation.
- Slasher has a bug where if you use Raging Pace at the latest moment of a round, your stamina will stay capped at 70 for every character.
- Slasher's old model's (Jason) chainsaw used to feature the linked sword's texture. (This has since been changed with the remodel.)
- If a player managed to equip Jason before his remodel, they can still be able to play as him unless they equip another character. In theory, the reason behind this is due to the fact that Slasher is just a remodel and not a new character, the data of the model would remain the same, but take this with a grain of salt,
- Raging Pace may have been inspired by Jason's Unstoppable Rage ability in the fighting game made by Warner Bros., Multiversus, where it does the same thing as Raging Pace: it makes him immune to hits until it ends and strengthens his attacks. The only difference is that Unstoppable Rage grants Jason gray health which is similar to Forsaken's overheal.
- Slasher was the first killer in the game to have hair, with the second being Nosferatu.
- The art of Slasher in the chase theme video has the Necrobloxicon stabbed on the opposite arm.
- Based on scrapped dialogue by 2x2, Slasher had a passive where he walked faster but was unable to run.
- This was likely repurposed for Raging Pace.
- Nosferatu and the other ancient vampires were created through Dracula’s pact with the Necrobloxicon eons ago. They now seek the book to undo the curse tied to their existence. The Necrobloxicon is currently fused into Slasher's right shoulder.
- Slasher's original custom kill animation for Guest 1337 was planned to show the Guest trying to pull the Necrobloxicon out of Slasher's shoulder.
- Slasher is immortal and can survive for years without food or water.[5]
- Slasher will not harm animals or children.[10]
